A native of Detroit, Michigan, Lisa Bacot currently serves as Executive Director, Control and Exam Management at JP Morgan Chase. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Governance and Compliance at Barclays Bank Delaware. She is a Pennsylvania licensed attorney and a graduate of both Widener University School of Law and Delaware State University, where she earned a BS in Accounting. She has extensive experience in accounting, auditing, governance and compliance, and is both a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor. Lisa also served her country honorably as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, stationed at bases throughout Europe and ending her enlistment at Dover AFB, Delaware. Her volunteer activities include: Delaware Boots on the Ground, a non-profit organization created to assist military veterans and their families, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Easter Seals of Delaware. She currently resides in Newark, Delaware and is a parent of two teens.
