
Trib Singh DE Army National Guard
Originally from Georgetown, Guyana, Trib Singh became a resident of Delaware in 1994. Since that time, Trib has become an active member of his community. Not only does he volunteer, he is an original board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Dagsboro, as well as an active board member of the Lighthouse Christian School Board. After graduating from Sussex Technical High School in 1998, he went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, in 2006, from Wilmington College.
Trib is currently a full-time employee of the Delaware Army National Guard, where he has spent the last 10 years serving in various positions. His present job is the State Training Site Manager, where he is responsible for two sites. In his prior position, Trib served as Commander of Joint Force Headquarters – Delaware. His outstanding leadership as the Commander earned him the Cpt. Robert Kirkwood Award as the best Commander in the Delaware Army National Guard, during training year 2014. The Kirkwood award is only given to one Company Commander per training year, recognizing that leader as being the very best within the state. Not only did Trib’s outstanding leadership earn him an award, he also guided his company to achieve the very prestigious Maj. Gen. George K. Hastings Excellence in Training Award for training year 2014. The Joint Force Headquarters Detachment has never received the Excellence in Training award in their history. The Hastings award is given annually to the best Company in Delaware. Recently, Trib was selected as one of Delaware’s Business Times 40 under 40. He resides in Millsboro, Delaware with his wife Chanell and their two wonderful daughters, Alexis and Tristen. Trib is a patriotic American who is proud to call Delaware his home, proud to be a member of the military, and even prouder to serve in the Delaware Army National Guard.
