
Jeremy Kalmbacher Tidewater Utilities, Inc.
Jeremy Kalmbacher is a native Delawarean. He graduated from Salesianum High School in Wilmington and from the University of Delaware. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Florida. In his 17-year career at Tidewater Utilities, Inc., his work focused on long term capital planning and sustainability of public water supply and wastewater infrastructure. In October of 2018, he founded Three Chord CEM, LLC, an engineering company servicing the civil, environmental, and marine sectors.
In 2015, Jeremy founded the Diamond State Sustainability Corporation where he now serves on the Board of Directors and as President. DSSC is a nonprofit utility corporation dedicated to environmental stewardship and infrastructure sustainability in low-income and under-resourced communities located in unincorporated areas of the State of Delaware.
In August 2017, he was elected by the members of the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers (DAPE) to serve a 4-year term on the DAPE Council. The purpose of the Council is to oversee the licensing of professional engineers and to regulate the engineering profession in accordance with the Delaware Professional Engineers’ Act.
Jeremy currently resides in Magnolia with his wife, Jessica, and two daughters, Abbygail and Annabelle, where they enjoy living out their Christian faith, attending festivals at Fifer Orchards, and enjoying Delaware’s beautiful beaches.
