
Sarah Kenney-Cruz Corteva Agriscience
Sarah is a strategic communications director with a diverse experience crafting clear,
compelling messaging for mission-driven organizations.
A Delaware native, she has relocated to Indianapolis to serve as a Global Communications
Leader for Corteva Agriscience, the publicly traded, global agriculture company that was
previously the Agriculture Division of DowDuPont. She leads internal and external
communications for the company’s global procurement team, which manages an $8B+ annual buy. She personally supports the Chief Procurement Officer, based in Indianapolis, and theProcurement Leadership Team, based in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
Previously, she worked as Communications Manager at the Delaware Prosperity Partnership, the public-private partnership that leads the state of Delaware’s economic development work. She worked with statewide partners to create messaging and marketing campaigns to attract, grow and retain businesses.
She previously managed internal and external communications in support of multi-million
dollar fundraising campaigns at Nemours Children’s Health System in Wilmington, Del. And she spent six years with United Way of Delaware, where she launched the organization’s digital marketing strategy and strengthened their traditional marketing, working with leaders in the corporate, nonprofit and public sectors.
Sarah has a strong commitment to community service, especially for causes related to women’s empowerment and education. She served as President of the Board for the Fresh Start Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships and mentoring to women who are returning to college. And she was proud to serve on the Young Founders committee for the Delaware Fund for Women, which is a branch of the Delaware Community Foundation, as well as Leadership Track team for the Millennial Summit, which is the country’s second largest workforce development conference of its kind.
She has a BA in Communications and an MA in Public Policy & Administration, both from the University of Delaware. She lives in Westfield, Indiana with her husband, Dave, their twins (Miles and Mia), and a small menagerie of pets.
