Nate E. Keeler Brandywine Valley Baptist Church

Nate Keeler is a lead pastor, community mobilizer, husband, and father. His life was significantly impacted by the tragic death of his best friend as a young adult, leading him on a search for his purpose. His new-found Christian faith led him to a life of ministry. Although Nate graduated with a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Cairn University, he first pursued a career in the advisory services at T. Rowe Price, gaining valuable business experience. Nate enjoyed leading clients toward flourishing investment portfolios, but his true passion is leading people toward whole-life flourishing. McLean Bible Church recruited Nate as a pastoral communicator, church planter and under-resourced community advocate. While serving in ministry, he received a Masters of Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. After nearly ten years of pastoral leadership in D.C., in 2015, Nate moved to Wilmington to become the Lead Pastor of Brandywine Valley Baptist Church (BVBC). Nate was drawn to BVBC by the opportunity to reenergize and mobilize an established but drifting church. His passion for under-resourced communities also led him to engage in the clean water crisis in Africa. He is a founding member of the Last Well, a nonprofit that provides clean water to Liberia. Nate is married to Shannan and they have two boys. His interests include mountaineering, mixed martial arts, international travel, C.S. Lewis and coaching.
