Taymi Santiago was raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Delaware at the age of 20. She joined the healthcare field in 2003 after learning English as a second language. She started at Nemours in 2004 and has held a variety of roles in the organization including Patient and Family Support Services, Department of Surgery, and Healthcare Administration. She also spent two years as the Manager of Operations at the Nemours Estate, the historic estate of Alfred I. duPont and Jesse Ball duPont. Taymi joined the Human Resources team in 2018 as the Absence Management Partner whare she was the subject matter expert for FMLA, ADA and Workers Compensation cases. She was promoted to the Business Partner role in March of 2021. These experiences have allowed her to become a well-rounded leader. Her passion is supporting and developing our most valuable asset: our associates. Taymi believes wholeheartedly in hard work. She values kindness and good working relationships.

Taymi is married to her husband Jorge. She has a lovely daughter, Abigail, and three wonderful stepchildren; Nuni, Jessica and Jennifer. She enjoys hiking, learning about gardening and spending time with family.
