Dave Tiberi President - Emergency Response Protocol, TNT Video, Multimedia & TV Productions
It was a little more than 25 years ago when Dave Tiberi challenged undefeated world middleweight champion James “Lights out” Toney for his title at Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City. Although the controversial split decision on ABC Wide World of Sports deprived Tiberi of the title, the outrage that followed by Former Delaware US Senator Bill Roth, Former VP Joe Biden (then Senator) and Former Senator John McCain resulted in legislation that created stronger health and safety rules for fighters across the nation that was signed by then President Bill Clinton. However, Dave earned the title of ‘’The Uncrowned Champion’’.
Mr. Tiberi, who has been inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in both Delaware and Pennsylvania continued his fight outside the ring. Dave served for 9 years on the St. Francis Hospital Foundation Board, Sunday Breakfast Mission Homeless Shelter Board, Goodwill Industries Annual Luncheon and Connections CSP addressing the complex problems of mental health and substance abuse.
