(WILMINGTON, DE) – Leadership Delaware, Inc. (LDI) is proud to announce the appointment of a new member to the Board of Directors.
Chelsea is the Director of Organizational Culture and Communications for L&W Insurance Agency and is an LDI alumna from the Class of 2020.
As a Delaware native, Chelsea Clark is driven by the desire to better the community in which she has grown. She has spent the last 16 years ascending responsibilities at L&W Insurance, a full-service insurance agency, and respected business operating throughout the state of Delaware for the past 92 years. L&W values building partnerships with clients, and growing roots in the community. As the Director of Organizational Culture & Communications, Chelsea oversees the agency’s human resources, employee relations, and communications inclusive of marketing & community outreach.
Her aim for meaningful impact carries through in her volunteer roles as well. She is a devoted Board Member for Gals That Give Charity, where she coordinates the organization’s internal operations. Gals That Give is a Delaware non-profit whose mission is making philanthropy accessible, affordable, and fun through their bimonthly events that raise both awareness and funds for Delaware charitable organizations. Chelsea also serves as the Board Vice President for Spur Impact, whose mission is to promote growth personally, professionally, & philanthropically through various local initiatives.
In addition to being a Class of 2020 Alum, Chelsea also serves as a Board Member for Leadership Delaware, Inc., where the future leaders of the first state are challenged and empowered to step into their full potential.
She takes great pride in having previously served on additional committees for organizations that are positively impacting our Delaware Communities, including The WRK Group’ (Teen Warehouse / REACH Riverside / Kingswood Community Center), DANA, & Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
Chelsea resides in Kent County with her husband Allen and their wildly individual twin daughters.
