Agnes Mikus-Hughes Bank of America

Agnes Mikus-Hughes was born in Chelm, Poland and moved to the United States in 1985 during the Polish revolution. Because of this, she is passionate about local politics.
Agnes graduated from Goldey Beacom College with a major in Business Administration, and has been in the Delaware financial services industry for 20 years. She is currently a Vice President with Bank of America. In her role, she is responsible for the employee deposit and investment businesses.
Agnes is passionate about developing others’ potential and demonstrating the impact a young professional can have in the community. She is a member of LEAD for Women where she mentors and also serves on the Professional Development Forum committee. Additionally, Agnes is the Entertainment Chair for the annual Family Volunteer Day which teaches the importance of volunteering to children, and demonstrates the impact companies, nonprofits and families can have together.
Agnes is a member of the Delaware Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Emerging Leaders Council for whom she serves as Chair of the annual MSquerade Ball, an event she helped found. The Council strives to develop young professionals and expose them to nonprofit board routines and opportunities. Agnes is married with two children and loves to travel.
