Archie T Payne III is a native Delawarean from New Castle and the proud alumni of William Penn High School. Archie holds a BS in Accounting (‘95), and two MBAs with concentrations in Finance and HR Management (’01) from Goldey-Beacom College. Archie currently serves as Sr Account Executive for Visa Inc., leading their Property and Casualty Insurance segment.

Archie is a Certified Treasury Professional('99) with over 30 years of commercial and consumer payments experience with focuses in banking, accounting/finance functions, as well as 15 years focused on working capital efficiency/benefits. He is an innovative and analytical individual with a prominence for solving complex problems, whether within a structured or unstructured environment. Coming from a long family history of volunteerism, he is a strong advocate for community engagement, leading the Visa Merchant Community efforts, as well as the Visa Wilmington Office I&D employee engagement efforts. Described as having “a great deal of passion for this intersection of commerce and purpose”, he uses his I&D platforms to advance financial literacy. Archie appreciates the opportunities Finance has provided to him, as well as the benefits financial decisions provides individuals, which fuels his passion for advancing financial literacy awareness.

When not delivering on career duties or volunteering, Archie can be found at home in Bear working on a DIY project, attending a Dance Dad event, enjoying a sporting event, or working on his golf game.
