Ashley Petruno graduated from St. Mark’s High School in 1998, and was part of two state championship basketball teams. She went to Wilmington University on a full basketball scholarship and was a captain of the team all three years.  In 2001, Ashley left college and joined the United States Air Force, where she served in the Iraq War as a Security Forces Member. After serving her 4-year term and being honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant, Ashley returned to Wilmington University and received her bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science.

In January 2014, Ashley began her recovery journey. Helping other addicts and alcoholics has become Ashley’s true passion in life. She has worked in crisis centers, schools, jails, probation and parole, rehabilitation centers and recovery houses with the eagerness to bring a message of hope to the individual who is suffering from this deadly disease.
