Chonnie Blair is a motivated, enthusiastic professional who has over 20 years of professional experience in operations management, sales management, financial management and education. She is a highly qualified secondary math educator with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience in the high school classroom, small group teaching and individual tutoring environments. With an understanding of societal demands, in her current role, Ms. Blair diligently seeks to educationally equip students to easily assimilate into and successfully complete degrees in their post secondary environments. Ms. Blair has earned a B.S. in Accounting and a M.S. in Educational Technology and Media Design.
As an associate director in academic services at Drexel University, Ms. Blair is a member of the management team for DragonsTeach and also, the program manager for the M.S, Mathematics Learning & Teaching Program. She is responsible for advising students, focusing on academic requirements for School of Education and the DragonsTeach programs, related STEM departmental curriculum, and graduation/certification requirements. Additionally, she manages projects and programming – including alignment with state certification requirements and accreditation – by scheduling courses, assigning instructors, locating and assessing faculty and instructional resources and serving as the main contact person for faculty, staff and students.
