In his capacity as a corporate responsibility professional, Chris has made waves by bridging the gap between corporate resources and community needs. He currently serves as the Community Impact & Investment Philanthropic Lead at Capital One, stationed in the Wilmington office. In this role, Chris plays a pivotal role in steering the foundation's philanthropic investments, amounting to a substantial 200 million across a spectrum of regions, including Delaware Valley and Midwest Station. Chris's academic journey includes the attainment of a BS in Criminology and Public Administration from the University of Delaware, complemented by an MS in Administration of Justice, with a concentration in criminal behavior, from Wilmington University. He's also a certified diversity professional (CDP), leveraging his interdisciplinary research to delve into the intricacies of domestic and international correctional systems. His work shines a light on critical themes such as racially-based police targeting, the re-entry process of African-American males post-corrections, and the complexities surrounding pardons and expungements.
