Cristina Frank Pepco Holdings, Inc.
Cristina Frank is a Principal Environmental Scientist for Pepco Holdings, Inc, a power delivery company serving NJ, MD, DE and Washington D.C. Cristina manages PHI’s Avian Protection Program, overseeing integration of avian protection strategies into PHI’s distribution and transmission construction activities and ensuring compliance with avian protection regulations. She coordinates with local and regional stakeholders to identify habitat restoration opportunities and to conduct community outreach to increase awareness and appreciation of the natural environment.
Cristina is a key contributor on many planning initiatives across the Delmarva peninsula and maintains a broad knowledge and deep appreciation of Delaware’s natural resources. She has extensive experience working throughout the Delaware Estuary as a wildlife biologist specializing in the development and implementation of multi-partner, community-based habitat restoration projects, species management and protection, natural resource planning and policy initiatives, and community outreach. Throughout her career, Cristina has strived to improve the natural world for future generations by promoting meaningful environmental protection and by reconnecting communities with nature through volunteerism and outreach.
She earned a B.S. in Natural Resource Management and a M.S. in Ecology from Rutgers University. Cristina serves as a council member for the Delmarva Ornithological Society. She resides in Wilmington, DE.
