Daniel F. Walsh is a banking leader with over 20 years of experience, he is currently the Vice President of Data Strategy at Barclays, US. Prior to joining Barclays, Dan was VP of Customer Strategy at TD Bank and previously a VP in Analytics with Bank of America in the areas of Marketing & Risk Strategy.

Dan is the former president of Supporting Kidds, the center for grieving children and their families, where he also has served as vice president and treasurer over the last 8 years. He founded the organization’s most successful annual fundraiser, Mustaches for Kidds, in 2009, which has driven more than $500K to date. Most recently, Dan has become involved with Heroes on the Water, where he guides kayak fishing trips for military veterans, first responders and their families.

Upon moving to Wilmington, Delaware, Dan quickly became involved in civic and city affairs to stabilize communities and promote accountability from local government. Dan served as president of the Midtown Brandywine Neighbors’ Association for several years, winning the coveted “Neighborhood of the Year Award” in 2010. Dan currently sits on the Residency Review Board as a mayoral appointee and is a familiar face at all Public Safety and City Council meetings. Dan has been a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Delaware on the topics of leadership and resident empowerment in urban communities.

Dan, a native Long Islander, attended college at The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, where he studied Finance. He enjoys kayak fishing, live music, and Hoosier basketball.
