Danika Perry, Psy.D. Nemours Children’s Health System: Delaware Valley
Danika Perry, PsyD, a Delaware native, fulfills her calling according to her gifts of advocacy and servant-leadership. As a pediatric psychologist, she provides behavioral health services in rural, primary care practices of Nemours. She is a member of the Diversity Anti-Racism Inclusion Value and Equity (D.R.I.V.E.) taskforce and the African Heritage Associate Resource Group, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor for the Division of
Psychology and 2020 Physician Excellence Award recipient in Community Service at Nemours.
Dr. Perry holds an appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and has taught as an adjunct professor at local universities. She earned her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Flint, MI.
She is a member of the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League Young Professionals and the Delaware Psychological Association’s Continuing Education and Diversity committees. She serves mankind with the Epsilon Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and her devotion to health equity and empowerment of Black and Brown communities is embodied in her work at the local and national levels. She enjoys quality time with her family, godchildren, friends, and dog Zeus. She is an aspiring baker and is often renewed by kayaking.
