David Arthur

David Arthur Agilent Technologies, Inc.

David Arthur, LDI Class of 2013, currently serves as a commodity buyer in the life sciences division at Agilent Technologies, Inc. Prior to joining Agilent, Arthur worked at the University of Delaware Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, where he helped launch the Sports and Entertainment Sales initiative to recruit more nationally touring events to the Bob Carpenter Center and Delaware Stadium.
Arthur previously worked for the Raymond Entertainment Group before joining Wilmington Blue Rocks professional baseball club, where held multiple positions, including the Director of Marketing. He then served as the Executive Director of the Delaware Sports Commission, helping to generate economic impact in the State of Delaware through regional and national sporting events. While in that role, Dave was instrumental in returning the Slam Dunk to the Beach – one of the premier high school basketball events in the country – to Delaware.
Arthur received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware, and his MBA from UD’s Lerner School of Business and Economics. Go Hens!
David is very passionate about the non-profits that he is involved with and currently serves on the board of Kind to Kids and the Jason Anderson Foundation, two organizations helping children in need. He also mentors students from the Delaware Youth Leadership Network and continues to be involved with the Delaware Sports Commission. David resides in Wilmington, with his wife Lauren.
