Diane Wikso University of Delaware

Diane Wikso serves as the Senior Associate Director for Annual Giving Programs in the University of Delaware’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations. In this role, she manages the strategy and implementation of the University’s eight annual giving programs. Prior to her current position, she served as the Associate Director for Young Alumni Programs for two years. Before joining the University of Delaware in 2016, Diane served as Campaign Director at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Delaware Chapter where she managed the fundraising and development for three campaigns and works with a diverse group of volunteers: business and community leaders, high school students, and endurance athletes. Diane is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she earned both an Honors B.A. with Distinction in Political Science/Spanish and a Master of Public Administration with a focus in Community Development and Nonprofit Management. At UD, Diane served as an Honors Program Fellow and later Co-Curricular Coordinator for the Honors Program. Although she is a native of Philadelphia, she and her husband, Eric, decided to remain in and pursue careers in Delaware. In 2013, they moved to Wilmington having made the commitment to live, work, and serve in the same community. Diane is an active member of Sycamore Hill Church, and, in 2012, she joined a handful of families in planting a campus in downtown Wilmington. In 2015, Diane was named to the Delaware Business Times’ “40 Under 40” list for her innovation in program development at LLS and her community engagement efforts.
