Earle Dempsey

Earle Dempsey First State Inspection Agency, Inc.

Earle Dempsey is a Kent County native with a B.S. from Salisbury University and an MBA from Delaware State University. He is a full-time single dad to four teenagers and is actively involved in the State and local communities as well as a Delaware small business owner.

In May 2021, Earle was re-elected to his second full term on the Lake Forest School District Board of Education for which he has served as President for the past four years. He is a volunteer firefighter/ EMT with the Felton Community and Magnolia Volunteer Fire Companies and is a member of the eight-person Kent County Levy Court Fire Advisory Board. Earle is currently serving his seventh year as a Delaware Supreme Court-appointed member of their Board on Professional Responsibility, as well as his fourth year as the Governor-appointed member of the Department of Education's Professional Standards Board representing the local School Boards. Past roles and activities include President of the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company (2011-2015), President of the Kent County Volunteer Firefighter's Association (2016), Program Manager - Statewide Recruitment and Retention for the Delaware Volunteer Firefighter's Association, Levy Court appointee to the Dover/ Kent County MPO Public Advisory Committee, and member of the Board of Directors for the nonprofits The Shepherd Place and The Arc of Delaware.

Earle is an Adjunct Professor for Delaware State University and Wilmington University for twelve and seven years, respectively, teaching business, management, and leadership courses for both schools' graduate and undergraduate programs. His past career highlights started with 16 years out of college for RGIS, LLC in Auburn Hills, MI where he served as Operations Manager for major metropolitan markets along the East Coast as well as Director of Operations for the RGIS Europe startup operation. He also served as Operations Director for ComputerTraining.com in Hunt Valley, MD managing training campuses throughout the eastern half of the U.S., as well as Customer Engagement Manager for the State of Delaware's Department of Technology and Information.

In January 2021, Earle completed the acquisition of First State Inspection Agency, Inc. Based in Milford, DE, First State is the leading provider of construction-related inspection services for municipalities throughout Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore with its staff of 25 employees. As one of two principals, Earle serves as President of the corporation maintaining a targeted plan of aggressive growth and modernization.
