Francis A. Gott III is serving as the Director of Respiratory Care Services at Christiana Care Health System. Mr. Gott is responsible for leading a large staff of respiratory therapists, oversight of logistical operations and finances for the Respiratory Care Department and Pulmonary Functions Labs. Current and past responsibilities include continuous quality improvement efforts across the health system in collaboration with physician and nursing leadership, leveraging data to drive performance and creating high-­‐quality solutions to improve patient safety. He was born and raised in Delaware. Mr. Gott attended Delaware Technical and Community College majoring in Applied Science with a focus on respiratory care. Upon graduation, he started working for Christiana Care Health System as a respiratory therapist quickly advancing into leadership and management. He returned to college in 2004 seeking a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Allied Health Management followed by his MBA with a focus of Health Care Administration from Wilmington University. He has served on the board of the Delaware Society for Respiratory Care and the American Lung Association. Fran and his wife Melissa are raising two sons and currently reside in Kent County.
