Himani Divatia, DO, FACP, FAAP is an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Physician at ChristianaCare in Newark, DE. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Penn State University and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She began her journey in Delaware over a decade ago when she came for her residency training in combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics. Currently she serves as the associate program director of the Med-Peds residency program, the program director of the Transitional Year residency program, and works clinically as a Med-Peds Hospitalist. Himani's interests in addition to graduate medical education include physician health and wellness, health equity and social determinants of health as well as patient safety and medical education. Himani serves as council member of the DE Chapter of American College of Physicians and has developed a community tour of Wilmington for Internal Medicine and Pediatrics resident physicians to provide an overview of the demographics, health, and local community in order to help residents grow, develop and care for their neighbors in Delaware. Himani loves spending time with her husband Mrugesh and her two sons Aarav and Aayush as they explore this wonderful state together!
