Jeff Martino Wilmington University
After graduating from the University of Delaware with a BA in Biology, where he was a four-year member of the cheerleading squad and captain of the 2001 UCA Division I National Championship team, Jeffrey began his career at American Express Financial Advisors. With a strong passion for cheerleading and coaching, Jeffrey left his financial planning practice to begin Tri-State CheerNastics and become the head cheerleading coach of the Wilmington University Wildcat cheerleading team leading them to five consecutive UCA Division II National Championships. While running Tri-State CheerNastics, Jeffrey founded Cheer for Charity, a non-profit organization that hosted ten annual cheerleading competitions, raising $350,000 for A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children.
In 2011, Jeffrey sold his company and began working full-time at Wilmington University as Admissions Manager, focusing on streamlining business processes and helping students select their academic program. After earning his MBA from Wilmington University, he was promoted to Director of the University Partnership Center. In his current role, he is responsible for developing and managing relationships with corporations to help employees maximize tuition assistant benefits and provide the opportunity for career advancement through education.
He lives in Middletown, Delaware with his wife Abbie and two sons, Luke and Evan. He enjoys watching the Philadelphia Eagles and volunteering as a coach of his sons’ soccer teams.
