Leah Brown, MS, RDN, LDN Food Bank of Delaware
Leah Brown is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). She is currently the Community Nutrition Director at the Food Bank of Delaware (FBD). After earning her RDN credential, Leah started her career at the FBD in 2013 as the Child Nutrition Production Manager and was quickly promoted to Community Nutritionist.
In 2016, she left FBD to start her own nutrition private practice. This was always a dream of hers; however she was motivated to do this after identifying a gap in care based on the questions she received in the community nutrition classes she taught. In her time away from FBD, she also started a real estate investment business and attended business school. Additionally, she sharpened her skills as a dietitian by working in Clinical Nutrition. When Leah received the call to come back to the FBD, in 2021, she was honored to fulfill the leadership role as Director to cultivate the nutrition departments.
Leah is a New Castle, Delaware native and proud alumnus of William Penn High School. She also attended University of Delaware, earning a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and completing her Dietetic Internship. She attended James University to obtain her Master's of Science in Kinesiology.
