Lindsay Richard Carl M. Freeman Foundation and Joshua M. Freeman Foundation
Lindsay Richard is the Executive Project Manager for the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation and Carl M. Freeman Foundation where she manages special projects from the Executive Director’s office, including grantmaking.
Lindsay is a proud alumnus of Salisbury University and University of South Carolina where she earned her B.A. in Communication Arts and a Master’s degree in Sport & Entertainment Management. In 2012, she joined the Ocean City, MD Police Department as the Deputy Communications Manager where she managed the OCPD’s media inquiries and community relations. During Lindsay’s time at the OCPD, she worked part-time each summer at “The Freeman Stage”, a program of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation. Lindsay was eventually drawn to join the organization full-time in 2019 as the Executive Assistant.
Lindsay was born and raised in Sussex County to two multi-generational Delaware farming families and learned the impact of hard work and service from a very young age. Lindsay is inspired daily by her husband and their two young daughters. She enjoys baking fresh bread and burning it off on her bike.
