Mary is the Creative Services Director at Draper Media, which owns a total of five radio and six television stations with affiliations including CBS, FOX, NBC, and Telemundo. The most prominent stations are WBOC-TV, WRDE Coast TV and 102.5 WBOC-FM, and all stations serve the Delmarva peninsula including Kent & Sussex counties. Prior to this position, Mary worked for TV stations in York, PA; Johnstown, PA; Longview, TX; Tulsa, OK; and Oklahoma City, OK. In her current position, she manages public relations including on-air promotion of programming and news talent, external media placement, and event planning. She also works closely with many non-profit organizations to coordinate sponsorship of their events and to facilitate production and scheduling of their public service announcements. Mary is the co-chair of the WBOC Jefferson Awards Committee, which honors local individuals annually for their public service efforts. She also chairs the Bless Our Children Committee, which raises funds for Christmas gifts for needy children and is administered by Draper Holdings Charitable Foundation.
Mary received her B.S. with honors in Radio-TV-Film and a double major in German from Oklahoma State University and an Instructional Design & Technology Certification from Delaware Technical Community College. She also earned her Master of Education: Applied Technology in Education from Wilmington University. Mary resides in Seaford, Delaware and is a Past-President of Soroptimist International of Seaford. She is on the Delaware Technical & Community College Communications Advisory Committee and has served on the Sussex Central High School and Seaford High School CTE Advisory Councils as well as the Sussex Tech Media Advisory Committee. She is also a board member for both the Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club and Children and Families First. Additionally, Mary is an Adjunct Instructor at DTCC Owens Campus.
