Mike Utley is currently a Fleet Duty Officer for Exelon Generation, providing around the clock operational support for power plants throughout the U.S. and Canada to ensure safe, reliable operations. Mike has worked for Exelon since 2003, where he has held a number of roles throughout the organization, including support for Marketing and Trading, Finance, Project Management and Operations Management. This diversity of experience has led to an interest in leadership development and finding ways to help others broaden their professional experience. Recent project efforts include development of a process to evaluate and improve leadership communication and establishing an educational program to improve employee development throughout the organization.

Utley is a lifelong Delawarean and a proud graduate from Indian River High School, and the University of Delaware where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics. While at the University of Delaware, he was a member of the Delaware Men’s Crew that qualified for Nationals twice during his tenure, and served as the initial Alumni Relations Chair for the club. He currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Kennett Area YMCA and supports events at Stroud Water Research. A current resident of Dover with his wife, 3 daughters, and 2 Labradors, he and his family enjoy spending time in the wide variety of outdoor settings throughout the state.
