Nikki Mowbray Multiplying Good
Nikki Mowbray is a native of Sussex County, Delaware growing up in Bridgeville. Nikki graduated from St. Andrews School in Middletown and then earned her B.A. from Duke University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Nikki started her career in clinical social work in inpatient and outpatient alcohol and drug detoxification and rehabilitation. After moving back to Delaware, Nikki joined the YMCA of Delaware in 2007 as a Program Director, managing prevention programs, primarily in juvenile delinquency and substance abuse prevention. She has managed Building Strong Girls, developed and managed Brandywine Peer Court, coordinated the YMCA’s Bullying Prevention school programs, led the YMCA’s Strategic Prevention Framework- State Incentive Grant team, and was the YMCA of Delaware’s Director of Stewards of Children.
Nikki is currently the Delaware Program Manager for Multiplying Good (formerly the Jefferson Awards). She works with youth and adults to power their community service to multiply good and increase their impact. Nikki works with middle and high school students throughout over 50 schools in Delaware who are our Students in Action, with a focus on supporting Sussex and Kent schools. In addition, she supports the LEAD360 program to recognize youth service to their local communities and our Delaware and national Jefferson Awards for outstanding public service.
Nikki resides in Wilmington and is on the board of the Delaware State Fair and is the current President of the Delaware 4-H Foundation, both of which were influential parts of her youth.
