Nikkia has over ten years of experience in a wide range of health care regulatory and transactional legal matters. The majority of her career has been dedicated to working in state government and nonprofit health care system roles. Nikkia currently serves as Senior Counsel at Christiana Care Health System where she concentrates her practice on healthcare information technology and innovation. Prior to joining Christiana Care, Nikkia served as an attorney at Duke University Health System and the North Carolina State Health Plan. Nikkia is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, and serves as a mentor for aspiring attorneys and law students.

Originally from North Carolina, Nikkia holds an undergraduate degree from North Carolina A&T State University and a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.
