Rob Poppiti, Jr. Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP
Rob Poppiti is a partner at Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP. His practice focuses on representing debtors and other constituents (including lenders and noteholders) in connection with chapter 11 proceedings in Bankruptcy Court. Rob has been recognized as a Rising Star in Bankruptcy by Delaware Super Lawyers.
Rob graduated summa cum laude from the Widener University Delaware Law School in 2007; and magna cum laude from the University of Delaware Honors Program in 2004, with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics and Management Information Systems. While in law school, Rob was a member of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, and a judicial extern for the Honorable Myron T. Steele, then Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court. During college, he interned for the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance, and served as a teaching assistant for Professor Charles M. Elson’s Advanced Corporate Governance class. He has also interned for New Castle County’s Finance Department and the Fraud Division of the Delaware Attorney General’s Office.
Rob presently serves as a mentor for the Delaware Youth Leadership Network, and a member of the planning committee for the Meals On Wheels Delaware Cellar Masters’ Wine Auction, and the School Steering Committee for St. Elizabeth School. In the past, he has served as a volunteer baseball coach at St. Elizabeth. Rob lives in Wilmington with his wife, Kristin, and daughter, Palin.
