Practicing optometrist from Dover, Delaware, and president of Halpern Eye Care, Ryan is a graduate of Dover High School, and the University of Delaware. In 2007, he graduated from Southern College of Optometry. Ryan is a 3rd generation optometrist in a practice that was started by his grandfather in 1946. After three years of practicing optometry, he began taking on more of an administrative role at his family's practice. He is a proud native Delawarean that enjoys serving his community as an eye care provider. Ryan started serving his community as volunteer firefighter at the age of 14. He earned the Volunteer Youth Service Award at the age of eighteen. He is passionate about serving his employees in the Delaware and Maryland Area. He currently resides in Dover with his wife. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He has recently taking up an interest in restoring his historical home in Downtown Dover.
