Samuel Lewis is a Delaware native from Felton. He has worked as a Farmhand, Drafter, Land Surveyor, and Civil Designer, as well as creating his own Personal Training and Real Estate Investing businesses.

Sam joined the Delaware Air National Guard in high school at 17 years old, and has deployed to locations around the world, including a tour in Iraq in 2004. He transitioned fulltime with the Delaware Air Guard in 2007 working in Logistics with air cargo. He has been on Active Duty since 2011 currently serving as Recruiting and Retention Superintendent. His recruiting team has reached historic milestones in enlistments and end strength; recognized as the best in the nation by the National Guard Bureau.

Sam enjoys learning and was selected to attend Lean Six Sigma training under the Continuous Process Improvement initiative and awarded the PMCVA Scholarship to pursue his professional certification as a Chartered Financial Consultant. He was a Basic Training Honor Graduate, awarded the SBI Duncan Award for Leadership, and Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year. He has mentored as a Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware volunteer for the past six years and is a former volunteer Fire Fighter.Sam currently lives in Wilmington with his wife, Noreena, and their twin baby girls, Naomi and Sophia.
