Sara Bluhm City of Milford

Sara (Pletcher) Bluhm, a '04 graduate of Milford High School, joined the City of Milford as the first-ever Economic Development & Community Engagement Administrator in May 2021. In this role, Bluhm is responsible for planning, directing, and administering comprehensive economic development and business assistance programs for the City. She also works closely with the business community/civic organizations and serves as the City’s designated Public Information Officer.

Prior to joining the City of Milford Bluhm was the Conference Operations Manager at Zephyr Conferences, where she managed five international beer, wine, and food conferences, as well as the Publisher of MilfordLIVE. Other roles Bluhm has held include Executive Director of the Delaware Diabetes Coalition, a position she still holds today, Promotional Marketing and Communications Manager at Milford-headquartered GROWMARK FS, LLC and she was previously the President of Downtown Milford, Inc. (DMI) and served on the City’s Planning Commission for four and a half years.

A '08 graduate of Immaculata University in Chester County, PA, and 2016 graduate of Wilmington University, earning her master’s degree in Marketing Management, Bluhm resides in Magnolia with her husband, Jake, and soon-to-be newborn daughter, and enjoys playing with her Weimaraner puppy, shopping local and exploring craft breweries.
