Sarah Pragg University of Delaware
Sarah Pragg, a Delaware native, directs communications for the University of Delaware’s Institute for Public Administration (IPA). She creates print and online resources for IPA’s public service and research projects, which span education (Democracy Project Summer Institute for Teachers, Wilmington Education Improvement Commission, and College Access) to transportation (Complete Communities Planning Toolbox, Autonomous Vehicles). A graduate of the Charter School of Wilmington, Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Geography from Syracuse University in 2009.
Sarah then returned to Delaware and married her high school sweetheart, Dwayne. Sarah serves as an elder at Limestone Presbyterian Church, in Wilmington, the church she has attended since her youth. Through her work with the Mission Committee, she travels on mission trips, manages the annual Christmas alternative-gift-market fundraiser, and hosts homeless families on behalf of Family Promise of Northern New Castle County. She mentors high school students at UrbanPromise in Wilmington each week during the school year. Since 2014, Sarah has served as an at-large council member for the Delaware Association for Public Administration (DAPA), the Delaware chapter of the American Society for Public Administration. Sarah designed DAPA’s new website in 2015 and manages chapter membership.
