Sarah Wahlig Exelon
Sarah Wahlig, a Principal Project Manager, leads her team in implementing technology projects that benefit customers and communities served by the Exelon Utilities. Sarah manages medium to large complex IT projects related to customer relationship management and billing applications, including but not limited to Mainframe, Oracle, and SAP technology solutions.
After earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Multimedia Design from Wilmington University, Sarah began her career leveraging her multimedia skills to develop training and quality assurance materials for a local startup within the healthcare industry. She later earned the Graduate Academic Award for her Masters of Science degree in Management of Information Systems from Wilmington University. At the age of 23, Sarah became an Adjunct Professor at Wilmington University teaching a graduate-level course on streaming media. As Sarah’s career transformed, she developed a passion for managing IT projects. She is a PMI certified project management professional (PMP).
Sarah has volunteered with numerous nonprofit organizations, but finds the most joy in empowering and facilitating the growth of young women in pursuit of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers.
