Sierra Harris The Longwood Foundation
Sierra Harris is a proud Alumna of Delaware State University and Drexel University, where she received a B.S. in Engineering Physics, minor in mathematics and Master's degree in Systems Engineering. She holds two certificates in Peace Engineering and Engineering Management. Sierra is the Program Associate at The Longwood Foundation. Through her community book club, “It’s LIT,” in partnership with local organizations, Sierra’s love for literature and affirmation meets her passion for learning and engaging community. Her desire for community engagement is fueled by her diverse upbringing and her passion for her community continues to inspire her current push to expand her scope of practice in efforts to benefit the very village that raised her.
Sierra has served in various leadership roles. She is currently a member of The Wilmington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, Board of Trustees at the historic Mother African Union Church, and serves on the Board of Directors for Christina Cultural Arts Center.
