Stephenie, a Smyrna High School alumni, started her career with an internship in 2007 which progressed into a full-time position with the State of Delaware. There her passion is in providing accountability for how taxpayer dollars are spent, and working together with state personnel to make a more efficient state government. Hungry for more knowledge, Stephenie obtained her CPA designation in 2012 and graduated with her Master’s Degree in Accounting from Wilmington University in 2015. Her most exciting accomplishment so far occurred in January 2016 when Stephenie and her husband purchased Dolce Bakery and Coffee Shop in downtown Milford, Delaware. Their business motto of “Change the world. Start with coffee.”, symbolizes the impact which they hope to make in their community and surrounding areas. Stephenie also spends her time as a board member for Revitalize Delaware, volunteering in the community, and enjoying life with family and friends. Stephenie and her husband, Dean, live in Harrington, Delaware with their son, Dylan, and their German Shepherd.
