Thère is President of the Longwood Foundation, a private foundation principally supporting charitable organizations in the state of Delaware and southern Chester County, Pennsylvania.  He currently serves on the boards of DuPont, WSFS, and Burris Logistics.  He is Board Chair of both the Pete du Pont Freedom Foundation and Community Education Building.  In 2007 and 2008, he served as Senior Vice President, Operations and Chief Financial Officer of drugstore.com, a leading online provider of health, beauty, vision and pharmacy products.  Prior to that, Mr. du Pont served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Wawa, Inc., a chain of food markets on the east coast.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University.
