Trisha L. Newcomer City of Seaford
Trisha Newcomer takes great pride in working for and giving back to the community where she was raised, both professionally and personally. In her role as Economic Development & Information Technology Manager at the City of Seaford, she works closely with the City Manager and Assistant City Manager in the recruitment and retention of business and manufacturing within the City of Seaford. She is responsible for the information technology infrastructure and maintenance of the city’s computer systems, which include the 911 Dispatch Communication Center of the Seaford Police Department. Trisha is an active member of the recently established Seaford Enhancement Team, whose mission is to encourage the restoration and revitalization of downtown Seaford and to enhance the economic prosperity of the area. She is also a member of the Sussex Economic Development Action Committee, the Municipal Web Developers Group for the State of Delaware, and the Business & Economic Development Committee of the Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she serves as Chair of the Nanticoke Riverfest, a festival that draws approximately 10-12,000 visitors to the community annually. Trisha obtained her BA in Business Management from Wilmington University and is currently pursuing a degree in Microcomputers and Networking. She and her husband, Keith, reside in Laurel, Delaware. Together they enjoy the great outdoors, cycling and working as youth leaders at Bay Shore Community Church.
