Nadira Alston

Nadira Alston Exelon

Nadira is a native of Philadelphia, PA. She currently, resides in Middletown, Delaware with her husband, son, and daughter. She holds a BA in Management Information Systems from LaSalle University, Philadelphia. She is currently completing her MBA with a specialization in Management at LaSalle University, Philadelphia.

Nadira is a Senior Account Manager in Large Customer Services at Pepco Holdings, Inc., an Exelon Company.  She is responsible for managing Large Commercial Customer relationships, accounts and leading cross-functional project planning for electric distribution and transmission system installations and upgrades. In addition to these responsibilities, Nadira found time to launch and lead the Atlantic City Electric Network of Exelon Women Employee Resource Group. The leadership team consisted of 13 employees which together developed a platform that provided personal and professional development opportunities, seeking to provide empowerment to its members. Nadira and the team grew the membership to 322 members. The overwhelming success of the group resulted in the creation of a subchapter in the Mays Landing district.

Throughout her career, Nadira has remained an active volunteer in the community and within Exelon. Nadira has volunteered at The Resurrection Center where she supported volunteer coordination for the Youth and Senior Programs. In addition, Nadira lead the VIP School and Holiday Drives in conjunction with United Way. This allowed Nadira to support her passion by raising of funds for purchasing supplies and holiday gifts for under-privileged school age children and their siblings. Nadira’s determination and leadership led her to be nominated for the 2019 Exelon Women’s Leadership Summit. She was also elected as a speaker for the Exelon’s 2019 Emerging Leaders Program, which is an immersive development program for a select group of high potential leaders across the corporation.
