Matt Georgov currently resides in Wilmington with his beautiful wife, Stacey. He attended Archmere Academy and graduated from The University of Delaware with degrees in Finance and Operations Management. After graduating, he accepted a position at Citigroup in New Castle, Delaware where he experienced global back office banking operations for large corporate clients. This includes documenting the North America corporate cash payment process flows, returning checks, reviewing check imaging solutions and monitoring Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) payments. While gaining a wealth of corporate experience, Matt always wanted to start his own business with his father, Bruce.

With Bruce's support, knowledge and guidance, Matt had the opportunity to start Choice MedWaste in 2015 after years of industry research. Matt and his team safely, efficiently and professionally dispose of biohazard waste, which includes sharps, trace chemotherapy, pathological and non-hazardous pharmaceuticals, from our local healthcare facilities. During the COVID Pandemic, Matt immediately jumped into action to support our local retirement communities. Whether it was additional medical waste supplies and pickups or sourcing Personal Protective Equipment like masks, gowns, or sanitizing products, he made sure his team safely supported these facilities and their residents. Matt earns his clients' business by providing transparent and reliable service in an industry that previously performed the bare minimum for their clients. Through networking, cold calling and referrals, Choice MedWaste has grown month over month to become a sustainable and valuable business for our healthcare community. Matt's goal is to become the leading infectious waste disposal company in Delaware and our surrounding states.

In addition to Choice MedWaste, Matt also manages his family's property management company, M&R Investors. He is responsible for 60+ units of college rentals ranging from apartments to townhouses and single family homes in the Newark and Wilmington area. Whether it is a tenant or a healthcare facility, Matt promises the same exceptional customer service that distinguishes his family businesses from their competitors. In his spare time he enjoys fishing with his brother, outdoor activities with Stacey, sports and relaxing with his friends and family.
