Lauryn Elder is a Delaware native, born and raised in Wilmington, DE where she graduated from Concord High School. She is the owner and founder of her private behavioral health practice, The Holistic Behaviorist LLC where she provides community-based behavioral health support utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, and Applied Behavior Analysis to support families experiencing behavioral challenges, neuro-diverse individuals, or those looking to skill build their own health behavior habits. Lauryn is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Certified Trauma Practitioner, Coach, and Entrepreneur. She graduated from the University of Delaware where she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Services and was a nationally ranked dance team member. She then attended the University of Cincinnati where she received her Master of Education in School Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis. Lauryn began her career working as direct care support for neurodiverse, and at-risk children and adolescents across the home, education, and clinic setting.

Lauryn's passion, mission, and experience supporting her community with wrap-around behavioral health support and care collaboration for children who have experienced high rates of toxic stress, or have complex behavioral diagnoses is attributed to her long-standing employment and collaborative history with various reputable agencies in the state. It is Lauryn's overall mission to support any individual to identify their values to skill build and commit to action that allows them to live at their most optimal health. Lauryn values health, curiosity, creativity, authenticity, and connection. Lauryn spends her free time engaging in functional fitness or any art medium. She is a proud wife to her husband Nate, and dog mom to her rescue dogs Max and Christopher.
